All New Disney World Store Coming to Orlando

Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration is proving to be a complete masterpiece and the fun is just getting started. At Disney World Resort, a plethora of new and exciting things have popped up including great new snacks, gold status, special cavalcades, new characters, and much more. But we just found out that the most Magical Celebration on Earth is coming to the city of Orlando. An all new Disney World Store is coming to Orlando.

A few months back, we found out that Disney planned to build an enormous art installation near Orlando’s I-Drive. During that time, Disney World was looking for approval from Orange County, Florida in order to build the display at 8050 International Drive on the Hollywood Plaza garage.\

All New Disney World Store Coming to Orlando

Today, however, Disney released MORE details about the art display. We learned that it will “showcase some of your favorite Disney characters and attractions in a whole new way.”

According to Disney:

“Get ready to experience Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and other Fab 50 golden sculpts as they come to life in an impressive ribbon-like Disney art display that enwraps the outside of the Hollywood Plaza garage. And that’s only the beginning! The dynamic art display will feature additional Disney characters, celebrations, and more over time.”

The best part, however, is that you will also be able to go INSIDE the building. Disney is opening an all-new Disney World Store that offers merchandise and ticket sales. The store also is expected to have the first-ever interactive Disney Vacation Club Virtual Discovery Station. The DVC Virtual Discovery Station has floor-to-ceiling screens and offer first-person virtual tours, photo galleries, and videos.

This brand new store and experience opens on May 31st. The new store will open on May 31st! We are so excited to see it and experience everything new.
