With the release of Iron Man in 2008, Marvel has been a decades-long sensation. With the acquisition of Marvel under Disney by Bob Iger in 2009, fandom for the franchise has exploded. Avengers Campus was first announced in 2017. However, it took 4 years for the park to officially open in DCA. With the ever-expanding universe, Avengers Campus has quickly become a must-visit destination for fans of the movies.
One of the main attractions of Avengers Campus is the Spider-Man ride, called “Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure.” This ride uses cutting-edge technology to allow guests to become Spider-Man themselves. Using hand gestures to sling webs and interact with the action on screen. It’s a thrilling and immersive experience that is suitable for all ages.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
In addition to the Spider-Man ride, Avengers Campus also features a Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster called “Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!” This high-energy ride takes guests on a thrilling journey through space as they help the Guardians escape from the Collector’s fortress.
Shopping and dining are also an integral part of the Avengers Campus experience.
