Every Available Legacy Lightsaber at Galaxy’s Edge
When Galaxy’s Edge opened in 2019, we were promised an immersive world of epic proportions. We knew, of course, there would be opportunities to build lightsabers at Savi’s Workshop. What we didn’t know was the onslaught of new and limited editions Legacy Lightsaber sets that would be introduced year after year.
Since 2019, Galaxy’s Edge has introduced 19 different legacy lightsabers. Two of these sabers, of course, are pairs of lightsabers. Disney Parks continues releasing new lightsaber designs to the lineup. In fall 2020, Disney announced that with the release of new lightsabers, others will be retired.
Legacy lightsabers, of course, are character inspired lightsaber hilts are exclusively for purchase at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. You will find Galaxy’s Edge is ‘Star Wars Land’ at Disneyland and in Hollywood Studios. Last year, Disney introduced the Star Wars™ Trading Post. Here you find a large collection of merchandise from Batuu.
Lightsaber Blade Colors
Currently, the sabers come in 6 vibrant colors: red, blue, yellow, white, green, or purple. Unlike Savi’s sabers, however, legacy blades are only one color. For instance, Mace Windu’s saber only illuminates purple. Likewise, Kylo Wren’s blades are only red.
However, purchasing from Savi’s lets you choose your color and changer it. Visit Dok-Ondar’s, and you will find a variety of Kyber Crystals for purchase.
Where to Buy Sabers
Upon Batuus opening, Disney introduced a number of incredible sabers. As time has gone on, we have also seen limited-edition legacy lightsabers and collectible sabers.
Unfortunately, these lightsabers are not sold online officially. Disney’s online shop, however, did — for a brief time — sell legacy lightsabers. Regrettably, the only way to purchase a lightsaber is from a third party site like eBay. Sadly, resellers mark up the lightsabers like crazy. Of course, the exclusivity gives us even more reason to visit Galaxy’s Edge.

Galaxy’s Edge Lightsaber Blade Lengths
At Dok-Ondar’s, you can buy blades 26 inches or 36 inches in length. Of course, the 36 inch blade is a full length blade. However, the 26 inch blade makes the lightsaber easier for children to use. Likewise, in Galaxy’s Edge, the Savi’s Workshop lightsaber includes a 31 inch blade. Fortunately, the Savi’s Workshop lightsaber blade works with legacy hilts. So if you already have a Savi’s Workshop lightsaber, then you don’t need to buy an additional blade for your legacy lightsaber.

The Newest Legacy Lightsabers
You might remember that during Star Wars Celebration, Disney announced fans will have the opportunity to vote for the next Legacy Lightsaber hilt. Fans got to vote from these hilts, Jocasta Nu, Sifo-Dyas, Quinlan Vos, Depa Billaba, Barriss Offee, or Kanan Jarrus. Disney Parks revealed the winning hilt, and it is the hilt of Padawan Caleb Dume.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Legacy Lightsaber
The Obi-Wan Kenobi Legacy Lightsaber Collectible Set is unveiled. The lightsaber hilt is based on the design of the Obi-Wan Kenobi lightsaber in the eponymous Disney+ limited series and ROTS and a New Hope.

Savi’s Lightsaber Price Update October 12, 2022
As of October 2022, Savi’s Workshop has increased the price of the lightsaber building experience. At one point, the sabers cost $219.99. While expensive, the experience to many was well worth the cost. However, The price of Savi’s Workshop has increased from $249.99 per lightsaber + tax.
The increase is $50 from the original release of $199.99 in 2019.
Qui-Gon Jinn Legacy Lightsaber and Count Dooku Legacy Lightsaber

With the release of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, we are expecting two new legacy sabers: Qui-Gon Jinn Legacy Lightsaber and the Count Dooku Legacy Lightsaber.
The Count Dooku (Jedi Master) Hilt is a new design from Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi on Disney+. While the hilt is similar to the Dooku version released in 2020, this design shows his gear before turning to the dark side. When activated, the blade glows blue. While boasting the iconic curved design, the look of this saber is different than what we see Darth Tyranus wield in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
The second legacy lightsaber announced at Star Wars Celebration 2022 was Qui-Gon Jinn’s from Star Wars Episode I – The Phantom Menace. For many this has been a long awaited addition to Dok-Ondar’s robust collection. Perhaps known as the wisest and most advanced Jedi Master, Qui-Gon’s hilt features a simple design that is both functional and clean. When the blade (sold separately) is attached, the saber illuminates green. This is the perfect addition to anyone who loves the Qui-Gon character and what he means to the Star Wars saga.
Supposedly, both of these hilts are available to pre-order on shopDisney.com but we haven’t seen them. However, we can expect to see both hilts at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort sometime Fall 2022.
Disney+ Subscriber Exclusive Lightsabers
November 1, 2022, shopDisney released a handful of exclusive lightsabers for Disney+ subscribers. We saw Ahsoka Tano hilts, the Darksaber, and Obi-Wan and Anakin hilts.

The updated version of Yoda’s legacy lightsaber stands out with a shortened handle, designed specifically to accommodate his diminutive size. This is NOT available as a Legacy lightsaber. The Legacy Ezra saber is his second hilt, which is green and does not include the blaster feature. In addition to that, even though the Caleb Dume/Kanan Jarrus lightsaber was announced as the winner for last summer’s poll, it has not yet been released in the parks. As of now, there is not update on when it will be available.
