MagicBand+ is Here and Even More Expensive Than Before

A few months ago Disney World released (accidentally) the all new MagicBand+. These new generation of MagicBands are interactive wearable tech. You will be able to interact with various portions of the parks using these new bands.

While these were announced over a year ago, there have been a handful of updates over the last handful of months. While the MagicBand+ can do everything the original band does but will interact with the 50th Statues, participate in Nighttime Spectaculars, and more. Perhaps even more exciting, for the first time the MagicBand is coming to Disneyland in Anaheim.

These new wearable bands include a color-changing light, haptic feedback, and even gesture recognition. With the parking on your phone, the My Disney Experience app adds even more functionality.

Just this week, we found out that MagicBand+ is coming to Walt Disney World on June 27th, 2022. This will include 25 unique designs.

Here’s What We Know About MagicBand+

In Batuu (Galaxy’s Edge), MagicBand+ you can use the Play Disney Park app to seek out number bounties all through Black Spire Outpost. The Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters experience guides you with haptics and flashing lights.

Nighttime Spectaculars

If you’re looking to add even more excited to your MagicBand+ adventures, use can add even more magic. Enjoy these upgrades and great features at Disney Enchantment and Harmonious. We are sure there will be more to come with the addition of Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure.

To make sure you get the most out of your experience, ensure your MagicBand+ is charged up and ready to go for the day. Before heading on your Disney vacation, remember you can buy a MagicBand+ head of time for special pricing before arriving.

Currently, we know that that these new bands are going to cost $34.99 (starting). While prices were leaked back in May, these advertised prices are more expensive than the May price. Classic Disney World.
