Salt & Straw is Now Open in Disney Springs

This week Disney Springs just got a little bit sweeter. Salt & Straw, a Portland-based ice cream company opened in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs.

Founded in 2011, Salt & Straw boasts classic flavors like Double Fold vanilla and Chocolate Gooey Brownie to unique flavors like Honey Lavender and Pear and Blue Cheese (ewww). To make things easy on everyone, they even offer vegan options.

Flavors vary by store and location in order to reflect local tastes and climate. Much like the beloved Gideon’s Bakehouse, they offer limited time monthly flavors.

One of the most popular options when visiting Salt & Straw is to partake in the “ice cream flight” that comes in waffle bowls. According to Salt & Straws official Twitter page: Whether you’ve never tasted our ice cream before or want the ultimate experience, our flavors are always here for you. Choose your own taste adventure with an Ice Cream Flight (Waffle Chips included 😏).
